Public Offices

In 2008, New Yorkers will elect all of their State Assembly and State Senate representatives. In the 2009 election cycle, all 52 seats in the New York City Council are up, 36 of which will be vacant due to term limits.

For individuals seeking elected office for the first time, election cycles like these provide both great opportunities and tremendous challenges. Grassroots Initiative helps candidates navigate the electoral process, better target voters, track and boost voter turnout, and secure legal assistance to combat technical challenges to their candidacy.
