 Where We WorkGrassroots Initiative is based in New York, NY and the city serves as the hub and focus of our current activities. New York City is one of the largest, most densely packed and diverse cities in the world, making it a natural focal point for our work at Grassroots Initiative. The city is home to over 8 million people, representing over 180 different countries and languages. In addition, 40 percent of the city is foreign-born. All together, these factors provide a tremendous environment for leadership development and innovation. Whereas the bulk of our work is confined to New York's five boroughs, we began to offer select services - including campaign materials - to candidates outside of New York in 2008. |
